Reporting to the Head- Ecosystems and Partnerships, the role holder will be charged with creating and implementing client-focused solutions with diverse and agile teams, leveraging partnerships and platforms within the Bank’s prioritized sector ecosystems. The role holder will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, test, commercialise and scale solutions that go beyond the realms of traditional banking.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Create and implement innovative solutions that enhance customer value, generate new revenue streams, and disrupt existing markets by leveraging technology and ecosystems.
• Explore new possibilities and opportunities in existing products, services, and businesses by adopting a non-traditional approach to ecosystem roles and dynamics.
• Build a diverse portfolio of platform businesses that address customer needs in various ecosystems, rather than focusing on single products.
• Forge strong connections and partnerships with key stakeholders in the customer ecosystem to optimise dfcu’s competitive edge and value propositions.
• Execute the ecosystem vision in selected sectors and value chains, by connecting partners, producers, and customers through dfcu and partner platforms, scaling our sphere of impact.
• Analyze business and use cases, converting customer needs and business opportunities into clear requirements, such as epics and story maps.
• Track and grow ecosystem users and revenue using KPIs and optimise partnerships and business performance to meet goals.
• Manage gate processes to select and advance the best solutions and discard the rest.
• Lead the internal ecosystem and platform strategy and support cross functional teams including data analytics, digital transformation, product management.
• Drive customer and partner discussions to deliver messaging/alignment on ecosystem value, feasibility, and scope.
• Proactively evaluate new market and partnership opportunities, as well as emerging technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• A Bachelor’s Degree with a bias in Business studies or Commerce.
• Six- eight (6-8) years’ experience in Digital Innovation, Product Manager or Owner, Ecosystems.
• Digital Innovation and Digital Customer Experience certification desired.
• Good knowledge in Product Management and Solution Development.
• Project and Partnership Management experience.
• Ability to run a successful business, create value for customers and shareholders, analyze investment opportunities, and collaborate and partner with others.
• Experience in managing, pricing, positioning, implementing, scaling, and marketing platforms in various domains/sectors.
• Proficient in using the latest technologies such as AI, ML, Robotics, Blockchain, API & Open Banking.
• Can manage complex and diverse solutions from start to finish, allocate resources, prioritize tasks, ensure quality, and meet deadlines.
• Knowledgeable about security, privacy, and risk issues related to customer data & IP, and you can prevent and detect fraud, cyber-crime, and comply with all laws.
