Commercial Marketing Assistant Marie Stopes Uganda

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Commercial Marketing Assistant to support our commercial sales marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in executing marketing campaigns, promoting our products and contributing to the overall success of our commercial strategies.

Key responsibilities:
• Campaign Execution: Assist the Marketing Manager in the execution and monitoring of commercial marketing campaigns.
• Content Creation: Contribution to the creation of marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations and digital content, ensuring alignment with company & group regulations.
Digital Marketing: Collaborate on digital marketing efforts, including social media campaigns, email marketing and online advertising.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth.
Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of conferences/ events and other relevant events to enhance brand visibility.
Customer Engagement: Assist in developing strategies to engage industry professionals, key opinion leaders through various marketing channels.
• Data Analysis: Analyze marketing data to evaluate campaign performance, customer behavior and provide insights for future marketing strategies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams across the organization to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all marketing materials and campaigns comply with the healthcare industry regulations and ethical standards.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
1. Campaign Effectiveness: Success of marketing campaigns based on key performance metrics such as reach, engagement and conversion rates.
2. Brand Recognition: Monitor the growth of brand recognition within the industry, considering feedback from professionals, pharmacies & distributors.
3. Event Impact: Evaluate the impact of activations, and all marketing activities on brand visibility, lead generation and overall marketing goals.
4. Content Engagement: Measure engagement levels with marketing content, including click through rates, downloads and social media interactions.
5. Market Share Growth: Assess the contribution of marketing efforts to the growth of market share of all products.
6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities adhere to healthcare industry regulations and ethical guidelines.

EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Marketing, with a strong understanding of Trade marketing,
• Hands-on experience in setting up and managing experiential marketing campaigns for B2B and B2C with significant return on investment.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis and the ability to extract meaningful insights from marketing data.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
