Caretakers Asaak Financial Services

Reports to : Receptionist

Job Purpose:
The position holder will guard, patrol company premises and ensure a safe working environment for the employees, stakeholders and take care of the company’s property against fire, theft, vandalism,terorrism and illegal activity.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The employee’s duties and responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:
1. Receive, scrutinize, register and direct clients and visitors according to Company regulations and requests outlined in the visitor’s register.
Liaise with outsourced security guards and provide backup security while on the company premises in line with company guidelines.
3. Inspect and record people and packages entering and leaving the building according to the requirements of the gate release register.
Deter criminal activity and other problems and hand over to the police out-of-hand matters according to company security regulations and the supervisor’s instructions
5. Tend to the company gardens and Asaak’s Fort portal office premises.
6. Opening and closing the gate for visitors.
7. Providing security to the premises 24/7 while keeping his presence physically at Asaak.
8. Provide support with administrative or logistical tasks as needed.
9. Performing basic simple repairs and maintenance tasks as required on the company premises.
10. Perform daily security checks for the buildings in line with company policies
11. Opening the building at the start of the day and locking all doors and windows when not in operation

Person Specifications:
The job holder requires the following specifications:
● Ability to work together in a team, under minimum supervision & under tight deadlines
● Good discipline and proper conduct with above-average physical fitness.
● Attention to detail
● Flexible and prepared to get your hands dirty

Minimum Requirements:
● Must hold an O-level certificate with Basic training in the provision of institutional security
● At least 2(two) years of experience in security management
● Fluency in English and Rutooro is an added advantage
