Results Based Management and Knowledge Management Expert Enabel

Enabel in Uganda is seeking to recruit a dynamic and competent individual to fill the vacancy for the position of Results Based Management and Knowledge Management Expert based in Kampala
The person is responsible for supervision and quality assurance of the work of all Monitoring &Evaluation (M &E) officers, and overall appropriate monitoring, and evaluation of activities, in order to ensure that the planned results (outputs – outcomes) are achieved within the set M&E standards and requirements. They will also be responsible for knowledge building and knowledge management of the Enabel Interventions in Uganda in order to create an inclusive and informed climate within the country portfolio.

Job description
Joining Enabel as a Enterprise Development and Decent Work Expert, you will be directly reporting to the Business development & entrepreneurship expert and you will perform the following key tasks:
• You will support M&E Officers in the establishment and correct measurement of intervention baselines.
You will coordinate the elaboration of the annual country portfolio report and corporate annual data.
• You will lead on Capacity building: create, implement and provide training on necessary monitoring and evaluation tools and theories.
You will develop a knowledge management strategy for Enabel in Uganda to guide knowledge management activities at country portfolio level. Seek the input of all key staff to ensure the strategy meets the teams’ needs.
• You will coordinate knowledge management and learning activities of the interventions and at country level.

Your profile
• A Master’s Degree that is relevant for the job (i.e. in Monitoring and Evaluation, Quantitative Economics, International Development, in a research-related field, Communication).
• At least 5 years’ experience in M&E methodology, data collection and analysis;
• At least 3 years’ professional experience in implementing knowledge management strategies;
• Experience with a development actor (development agency, NGO, UN, …) in the follow up of development programmes;
• Proven experience in organizational capacity building and/or training on monitoring and evaluation;
• Advanced experience with survey and indicator development.
• Familiar with results-based management practices;
