Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy, creating engaging content, and managing our online presence across various platforms as well as playing a crucial role in executing both ATL and BTL marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, engage customers, and drive business growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Above-the-Line (ATL) Tasks:
- Develop and implement ATL marketing campaigns across traditional media channels
- Collaborate with creative agencies to conceptualize and produce impactful advertising materials.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of ATL campaigns, providing insights for optimization.
- Ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment in ATL activities.
Below-the-Line (BTL) Tasks:
- Plan and execute BTL campaigns, including events, sponsorships, and experiential marketing.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and partners for the successful execution of BTL initiatives.
- Manage social media channels and content creation to support BTL efforts.
- Develop and implement targeted promotions, partnerships, and direct marketing campaigns.
- Monitor BTL campaign metrics, analyze results, and adjust strategies for maximum impact.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales objectives.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to gather insights and align marketing strategies with overall business goals.
Social Media:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive and effective social media strategy to enhance brand visibility and engage target audiences. Creativity will be key to create an effective approach within relevant budgets etc.
- Create compelling and shareable content tailored for different platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other emerging platforms.
- Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and industry news to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Manage day-to-day social media activities, including posting, responding to comments, and maintaining a consistent brand voice.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and finance to ensure alignment in messaging and campaigns.
- Analyze social media performance metrics, generate reports, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry changes, algorithm updates, and best practices to optimize social media strategies.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Officer in the FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging and shareable content.
- Proficient in social media analytics tools and data interpretation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
