Main Purpose of the Post
The project QA/QC Manager is responsible for ensuring that the project quality plan is compiled and implemented following the quality management system (QMS), client project quality plan, specifications and applicable engineering standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Review contract requirements, prepare and develop project quality plan and Inspection and test plans.
• Implement and monitor the quality functions and activities of the project including quality control inspections and the collection of quality records. Support the project management team and client for all project-related quality matters.
Implementation of the Randridge QMS including; quality procedures, project quality plan, quality forms and ITPs.
• Ensure the quality of the site installation is consistent with the contract requirements together with required national and international standards and customer specifications.
Review inspection reports and the documentation issued by inspectors and collect and file the required quality records.
• Ensure all materials that are site procured are approved for use by the client and material certificates are recorded for the handover file.
• Attend quality and progress meetings with the client.
• Recording and close out of all observations and non-conformances with root cause analysis and identify areas of improvement
• Manage all appropriate equipment calibration activities.
• Manage internal audit schedule and supplier audits, where required. Manage the compilation of systems turnover dossiers as th progresses.
• Review of engineering drawings, specifications and other design documents in conjunction with the project design basis and contractual requirements.
• Preparation, development and implementation of the ITP documentation. Co-ordinate testing and commissioning activities with the site sub- contractors and vendors.
• Co-ordinate with the client’s representative on testing and inspection matters.
• Co-ordinate completion and system turnover walk-downs with client, ensure punch items are closed out.
• Knowledge of Completions Management Systems
Qualifications
• ISO 9001:2015 internal auditor certification.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Quality Manager.
• Electrical, instrumentation or mechanical qualification (bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Electrical and instrumentation construction background in Oil and Gas.
