Drivers x3 Reach Out Mbuya Community Health Initiative (ROM)

Responsibilities and Duties
1. Drive the assigned vehicle in a safe manner and on movement schedules as directed by the supervisor in strict adherence to the laws governing road safety for other motorists, cyclists, pedestrians, and passengers.
2. Maintain assigned vehicle in good working condition through daily routine checks on battery, water, oil, lighting, etc.
3. Keep assigned vehicle fueled, with adequate oil, water, and other lubricants, and account to the supervisor for onward reporting.
4. Check logging official trips in the log books.
5. Ensure the vehicle is kept clean.
6. Make weekly, or where necessary instant, reports to the supervisor regarding the mechanical status of the allocated vehicle.
7. Assist in identifying and carrying out minor motor vehicle repairs keeping charge of the motor vehicle accessories kept in the allocated vehicle.
8. Support in loading & and offloading of items at facility, field & and outreach points etc.
9. Support and observe the safeguarding culture in the organization regularly documenting and reporting identified and potential safeguarding issues to the HR.
10. Ensure health, safety, and security in your area of operation, as you promote the vision, mission, and values of Reach Out Mbuya.
11. Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
• Valid driving license with at least relevant classes such as CH. CM plus a level certificate of education Certificate in Advanced or Defensive Driving
• At least 3 years’ experience of driving for a living
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
