Platinum Credit is a leading Regional Micro Finance Company providing emergency loans to employed individuals in Eastern Africa. We have a wide spread branch network in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. Platinum Credit (U) Ltd has introduced a new product available to formally employed persons working in the Private Sector. Platinum Credit (U) Ltd is a subsidiary of Platcorp Holdings Ltd.

 

Job Summary:  The Branch Sales Manager will build a sizeable high quality portfolio of loans to customers employed in the private sector.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research market trends and analyze competitor performance to develop effective sales strategies for the assigned product. Achieve set sales and collections targets.
  • Monitor and analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements for the assigned product.
  • Ensure compliance with company and country regulations for all staff under Private Sector Loans product.
  • In charge of recruitment and retention of Loans Officers. Provide mentorship and training to Loans Officers under the Private Sector Loans Product

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • At least three years of experience in a similar position preferably in a financial institution.
  • A professional qualification in sales and marketing will be added advantage..

 

Competencies:

  • Sales Management Skills; Recruitment; Promotional Skills; Account Management; Customer Service; and Entrepreneurship.
  • Leadership and supervisory skills (Experience in managing a team of not less than 20 people)
  • Knowledgeable about Private Sector loans
