The role will be responsible for the development and implementation of CCBU’s sustainability vision, strategic priorities, implementation
framework, and providing subject matter expertise to teams, including tools, processes, and best practices related to sustainability.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop a sustainability framework for CCBU.
• Provide strategic sustainability input to CCBU leadership and to Business Partners, and drive System alignment on sustainability matters.
• Take charge of all CCBU sustainability projects including project management, execution, reporting, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Integrate sustainability into CCBU operations and develop compliance and reporting guidelines.
• Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partnerships to align CCBU’s sustainability goals/objectives.
• Develop and manage CCBU’s sustainability database, scorecard, tools, metrics, and indicators for assessing progress towards sustainability
• goals.
• Develop and coordinate a process that leads to the creation of uniform CCBA sustainability standards and makes CCBA a leader in
• sustainability.
• Drive sustainability and community strategic alignment with CCBA.
• Identify partners and platforms to showcase CCBU’s leadership & progress in sustainability and community work.
• Carry out any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Skills, Experience & Education
Qualification
• Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Added advantage: Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or Engineering; training/ qualifications in ESG and sustainability
Experience
• Minimum requirement: Minimum 7 years experience in sustainability, community development, Stakeholder Management, and Engagement, at middle to senior management level
• Extensive experience in strategic planning and execution of planned sustainability initiatives
• Proven ability to manage budgets and work with implementing partners, implement desired culture changes
Competencies
• Deep understanding of sustainability matters relevant to the private sector and beverage industry.
• Strong ability to evaluate community needs and develop a strategic fit for CCBU’s priorities.
• Ability to lead culture change, mobilize internal & external resources, and build a winning culture to accomplish defined sustainability goals.
• Ability to build effective linkages, partnerships & relationships with key internal & external communities & institutions.
• Strong leadership, influence up the chain of command for buy-in, and ability to inspire teams.
• Good business acumen
