Job Title: HR Trainer

China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Co. (U), Ltd was established on 31st November 2014.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Training needs assessment: Work with local departments and stakeholders to identify and assess local staff training needs and priority areas, understand training objectives and expectations.
- Training plan and strategy formulation: Based on the results and needs assessment, be able to formulate localized training plans and strategies, and training content, objectives, schedule and design resource requirements required.
- Training project management: Be able to Organize, coordinate and supervise the implementation of training projects, including the development of training courses, identifying competent TOTS, be able to spot good training venues, etc.
- Training Resource Management: Manage training resources, including training budget, training facilities, training materials and the technical support and ensure there is effective use of resources and cost control.
- Organizing Training activities: arrange training activities, such as training courses, seminars, workshops, etc., to ensure smooth progress of the training and active participation of participants.
- Training effect Evaluation: design and implement training effect evaluation methods and tools, be able collect feedback and data, evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the training, and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Training partnership management: Establish and maintain co-operative relations with local training institutions, professional associations and partners, and find suitable training resources and external training opportunities.
- Develops Training policies and processes, update locally applicable training policies, procedures and processes to ensure compliance and consistency of training activities for the project.
- Training records and reports: record and maintain training related data and information, be able to prepare training reports and statistics, and provide training progress and results to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or any other relevant discipline.
- A post graduate diploma in human resource management is an added advantage.
- Must be a registered member of Uganda Human Resource Managers Association.
- A minimum of five years of proven work experience professionally in HR field/ Employee Training
- Good analytical, management, and decision-making skills which enable the human resources trainer to efficiently assess training needs and recommend the right solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, since an HR trainer is required to communicate with trainees and even the management, and also make presentations and gather reports or feedbacks
- Good interpersonal skills, as an HR trainer is required to work effectively with colleagues, trainees, and management
- Profound knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and other training and presentation software programs or applications
- An adequate understanding of the principles that are involved in a good training program
