As a Business Development Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of the organization by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and expanding the company’s customer base. Your primary objective will be to generate revenue through strategic sales efforts and achieve sales targets. You will collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute business development strategies, market the company’s products or services, and contribute to the overall business expansion.
Duties and responsibilities
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, lead generation, and networking.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and consistently achieve sales targets.
• Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to promote the company’s products or services.
• Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations to close deals and secure new business contracts.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales and promotional materials, such as brochures, presentations, and proposals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for business growth and product/service improvement.
• Gather customer requirements and provide feedback to the product development team to enhance existing offerings or develop new solutions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system.
• Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and expand professional networks. Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies that could impact the company’s business and offerings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer support, and operations, to ensure a seamless customer experience and successful project implementation.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
• Proven track record of success in business development or sales roles, preferably in a B2B environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to clients and stakeholders.
• Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to close deals and drive revenue growth.
• Solid understanding of sales principles and techniques, including lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline management.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
