Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Teller will be receiving /paying cash and cheques across the counter
- Adhere to teller transaction & cash holding limits at all times.
- Filing all cashier’s/reserve/main summaries.
- Filing all cashier’s payments/receipts related correspondences directed to you
- Receiving and recording cheque deposits
- Correct errors highlighted in the daily cash report.
- Calling and checking other tellers’ daily vouchers against daily report
- Collect all revenue due to the bank.
- Cross selling bank products, digital services and referrals as per allocated targets
- Exercise due diligence as per the procedures’ manual
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Any other duties that may be assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Teller must hold a university degree in relevant business discipline, any professional Qualification in General Banking is an added advantage.
- Thorough knowledge of banking products and services.
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
- Organized and ability to multitask, pays attention to detail.
- Passion for Performance and cross selling.
- Self – Drive, Flexibility, Focus and attention to detail.
- Open to New Ideas in a rapidly changing Business Environment
