Job Title: Business Development and Policy Analyst

About US:
Presidential CEO Forum founded in 2020, is a presidential initiative registered under the company’s Act purposely to support development work, harness and popularise private sector involvement in existing local and international initiatives. These include but not limited to Presidential Investors’ Round Table (PIRT), African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCTA); the East African Common Market (EACM), as a means of driving national productivity and inclusion.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth policy analysis, monitor regulatory frameworks, and recommend strategic actions to foster a conducive business environment.
- Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, partnerships, and investment prospects to enhance resource mobilization efforts.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement brand-building strategies, ensuring a strong market presence.
- Proactively engage with external stakeholders, including government bodies, industry associations, and community organizations, to advocate for appropriate legislation and policies that drive economic growth.
- Analyze market trends, conduct competitor analysis, and develop insights to support decision-making processes and stakeholder value creation.
- Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and policy briefs to communicate findings and recommendations to internal and external audiences.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Policy Studies, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in business development, policy analysis, or a similar role, preferably in the private sector or a relevant government organization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify market trends, assess risks, and recommend strategic actions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of legislative processes, policy frameworks and economic development strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and cross-functional team environment.
