BPIL produces and distributes quality day-old chicks and HACCP certified animal feed through over 40 branches within Uganda and the East African region. BPIL also produces chicken meat products under the Pearl Chicken brand retailed directly through our 30 Pearl chicken shops. Pearl also supplies leading wholesale, retail and food service customers with quality Ugandan National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) certified products.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurately input daily farm transactions into Nav farm. i.e., feed receipts & issues, consumptions, mortalities, transfers, egg collections, and vaccines.
- Prepare daily farm reconciliations for inventory i.e., egg collections and transfers, feed receipts and issues, daily flock movements including mortalities
- Ensure pen cards, consumables bin cards and feed bin cards are updated on a daily basis and compared to Nav farm.
- HR Support functions.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Degree in Business Administration (Accounting/Finance) or related field
- One to two years of experience in a similar role in a busy commercial environment
- Knowledge of Inventory and administration management
- Knowledge of accounting and financial processes and procedures
