JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Administrative Officer will be reporting directly to the Administration Manager and will supervise Drivers, Office Assistants and Health & Sanitation Officers.
He/ She will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day administrative and logistical support activities for the smooth functioning of operations within the Pride network.
Main Purpose of the Job:
• Create and manage fleet policies, Interpret, administer and implement company policies.
• Make certain that all office equipment including automobiles are in good working condition, are routinely serviced/well maintained and have consumables at all times.
• Ensure timely distribution of delivered items to respective offices for smooth operations.
• Follow up on LPOs issued to suppliers to ensure timely delivery of office supplies/works/services.
• Ensure timely preparation and delivery of product manuals, charts, brochures and forms among others to branches
• Ensure effective supervision of subordinate staff.
• Coordinate transport arrangements for staff.
• Coordinate workshops and trainings for staff.
Minimum Academic Qualifications and Experience
• Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Arts, Development Studies, SWASA or any other relevant field. Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering will be added advantage.
• At least two years experience in the field of Administration.
• Experience in fleet and supervisory management.
