Project Manager – Electrical Engineering Lafab Solutions

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical engineering projects, particularly focused on electrical power lines. Your expertise in electrical engineering and project management will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, meeting client requirements, and adhering to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, and lead electrical engineering projects, with a specific focus on electrical power lines.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely completion of project milestones.
• Oversee the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of electrical power lines and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety protocols.
• Monitor and control project progress, identify and address any issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Manage project risks, including identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, budget, and key milestones.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
• Maintain and foster client relationships, addressing client concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Registration with the relevant professional body, such as the Engineers’ Registration Board (ERB) or a similar body, with a valid practicing license for the year 2023.

Skills and Competencies:
• Extensive knowledge of electrical engineering principles, particularly in the field of electrical power lines.
• Proven experience in managing and delivering electrical engineering projects, with a focus on power lines.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, allocate resources, and track project progress.
• Excellent understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in using project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities to guide and motivate project teams.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and project team members.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address technical challenges and overcome project obstacles.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in project execution.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and practices related to electrical engineering projects.
