Engineer Cloud Security Standard Bank Group

The Engineer Cloud Security forms part of the Security Engineering team and is primarily responsible for building and maintaining a cloud environment for hosting security tools and for maintaining the cloud security tools that are used to secure production clouds

Support in providing security input into the design and implementation of available, cost efficient, fault tolerant and scalable distributed systems. This includes delivery and support of Cloud solutions, based on defined standards from the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE), from an Application and Infrastructure perspective. Delivery of multiple Cloud architecture patterns and implementations to drive customer outcomes

Support the organization to design and implement secure workloads and infrastructure on Bank’s approved cloud environments. Through an understanding of security best practices and industry security requirements, design, develop, and manage a secure infrastructure by leveraging security technologies. Should be proficient in all aspects of cloud Security including identity and access management, defining organizational structure and policies, using Google technologies to provide data protection, configuring network security defenses, collecting and analyzing Cloud logs, managing incident responses, and demonstrating an understanding of the application of dynamic regulatory considerations

Collaborate and influence stakeholders across the IT Business to ensure that cloud services offered are relevant, efficient and always secure

Qualifications
• Bachelors degree with a major in either computer science, physics, mathematics and/or statistics. Certification in one or more languages: c, c++, java, perl, python, go, or scripting experience in shell and perl.
• one or more cloud certifications such as:
a) aws certified solutions architect – associate
b) microsoft certified: azure solutions architect expert
c) certified cloud security professional (ccsp)
