The role
The company is recruiting an administrative assistant to support in the overall running of the Uganda head office. The ideal candidate must be energetic and approachable, be extremely organised, and willing to help with a wide range of tasks as assigned. A high level of computer literacy and attention to detail is a must.
Responsibilities
1. Office administration
a. Managing office supplies and maintenance – cleaners / contractors / installations / suppliers
b. Assisting with recruitment
c. Assist with administrative HR functions – consultants payments, staff wellbeing etc
d. Coordinate messenger and courier services including delivery of documents, letters, mandates where required.
e. Maintain office filing and storage systems.
f. Perform work related errands as requested such as purchase client gifts, go to post office and banking.
g. Notify administration when materials are running low so that they can be ordered centrally.
2. Executive assistant
a. Scheduling meetings
b. Travel arrangements
c. Taking minutes of meetings
d. Personal assistant
e. Be a brand ambassador and ensure the right image is projected of the brand at all times.
