The position holder will be responsible for ensuring our client’s survey operations are managed and maintained in such a manner as to support operations in the most efficient way possible. This position directly reports to the Chief Surveyor as per the attached organogram.
General assignments

2. Be the driving force for proposals in line with company guidelines
3. Participate in the company’s improvement dynamic
4. Respect the procedures and instructions which are in effect.
5. Ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing the work
Content
1. Preparing and maintaining sketches, maps, and reports of legal descriptions of surveys.
2. Verifying data and calculations.
3. Recording results of surveys.
4. Calculating the measurements of sites.
5. Writing descriptions of property boundaries.
6. Research legal documents, survey records, and land titles to clarify information about property boundaries.
7. Supervise the topographic team
8. Communicate with the construction team in order to plan for surveys
9. Check location and geometry of the structures
10. Ensure the use of calibrated equipment which is in good condition
11. Formalize nonconformities and report to superiors
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Surveying or related discipline is an added advantage
2. Diploma in surveying or related discipline
3. At least 3 years’ experience in surveying
4. Knowledge of Specialized Surveying systems especially (AutoCAD, Covadis, AutoPiste).
