Job Title:   Accounts Officer

Duty Station:  Kampala, Uganda

Reports to: Accounts Manager

About US:

Graphic Systems is the largest printing and packaging company in Uganda. It supplies indoor and outdoor print advertising collateral, commercial printing, cartons, labels and promotional items. In addition, the company manufactures corporate wear and garments.

Job Summary: The primary objective of the employee will be to handle supplier & general account reconciliations, handle import clearing, URA & NSSF entries.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a professional qualification will be an added advantage.
• At least three to five years of experience in a busy enviroment prefarably in the manufacturing sector.
• Linguistic skills: Fluent in English (Spoken & Written)
• The applicant should preferably hold Ugandan citizenship
• Age: Above 30 Years

Key Skills:

• Experience & knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must possess analytical skills. Must be accurate and able to interpret figures/numbers.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Must have working knowledge of accounting software like ERP/SAP.
• Must be ethical.
