Job Summary: The Field Supervisor primary role is planning, direction and forecasting and safely meeting customer requirements of the assigned project operation. The Supervisor is also responsible for personnel, systems and project equipment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Optimize Projects operating cost, Resources and Revenue Generation.
- Involved in the planning of Manpower and equipment requirements to ensure that the company maintains cost-effective resources which are applied optimum ally.
- Ensure that resources assigned to project are used properly and maintained in their best condition.
- Ensure all duties and responsibilities are performed within the requirements and guidance of the company QMS process.
- Drive innovation in operations with at least one innovation process per year.
- Ensure Continual improvement of assigned Project personnel resource through Performance appraisal.
- Identify Skill gaps in assigned Team and Recommend relevant trainings to close the gaps.
- Meet Customer set Objectives, Targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain safe operations.
- Automation of operations processes to improve efficiency.
- Develop Business continuity plan for assigned Resources (Personnel and Equipment)
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Diploma level in any relevant Discipline. Degree in Logistics
- Experience in operation of Fleet management, Logistics, Clearing and Forwarding.
- Three years of experience in Logistics role position.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision.
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information.
- Good communication skills with relevant stakeholders, including ability to prepare reports, updates and other documentation.
- Good computer skills especially in MS Excel and Word.
- Good Planning and organization skills.
