About US:

Streams of Wisdom High School is a privately owned secondary school located off Entebbe road in Ndejje-Kanaaba-Kigo. It is a mixed day and boarding school offering Arts and Sciences at both O and A levels. Emphasis is put on nurturing academically sound students and with excellence in discipline and co-curricular activities.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To provide strategic leadership and professional management across the school.
  • To train new staff and carry out their orientation.
  • To work towards delivering the school’s vision, mission, objectives and goals.
  • To carry out innovations and formulate new policies that work towards academic excellence.
  • To monitor the discipline of both students and staff.
  • To represent the school on different administrative and academic fora.
  • To track and monitor the performance of both staff and students.
  • To mentor and counsel both teaching and non-teaching staff where need be.
  • To develop and maintain effective academic programs at the school.
  • To coordinate with other administrators to organise school events, workshops and seminars inside and outside the school.
  • To overlook general administrative duties and to keep and update employee records.
  • Any other duty that may be prescribed by the directors.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education and any other related qualifications.
  • Minimum of five years as an administrator (Preferably a Headteacher or Principal) and ten years as an educator.
  • Must be registered with the Ministry of Education and Sports.
  • In depth and extensive knowledge of the new lower secondary school curriculum.
  • A person of impeccable character, high integrity, self driven and result oriented.
  • Excellent oral and communication skills.
  • An inspirational leader with the ability to motivate and empower both students and staff.
