Inspector of Works Dar Al-Handasah

Qualifications :
• BScs Civil Engineer
• Experience from 5 to 10 Years
• Has to have experience as an inspector of works
• Experience in software (Primavera p6 &Microsoft Project)
• Preferred Experience in Road Projects

Inspector of Works Key Performance Tasks and Responsibilities
• Assist the engineer’s representative in managing quantity and cost.
• Assist the Engineer and Engineer’s representative for assessing Contractor’s claims.
• Undertake day-to-day field contract supervision, quality control, and measurements at the site.
• Keep full and detailed permanent site records, which will include site correspondence, survey data, quality acceptance data, day work records, site diaries, measurement, and other field records.
• Prepare data presented in regular monthly progress reports.
• Provide measurement and inspection data required for interim payments.
• Ensure that the construction works& maintenance are executed in accordance with all the provisions of the contract, including those concerning standards of workmanship, and other safety provisions and protection of the environment.
• Attend and supervise so that all day-to-day field and laboratory quality tests are conducted in accordance with the technical specifications and instruction of the engineer’s representative or Resident Engineer.
• Approve or disapprove the materials to be used by the Contractors in accordance with the contract and technical specifications.
• Approve or disapprove the works executed by the Contractors in accordance with the contract and technical specifications.
• Keep and maintain the full and detailed permanent site and laboratory records, which will include test data, quality acceptance data, site diaries, and other quality-related data.
• Inventory of the condition of the Existing Road Condition.
• Any other tasks requested by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident
